Hi!
Which application of Trisquel mini 9 32 bit allows me to use my index finger on the touchpad of my old HP510 notebook instead of the built-in mouse button under the same touchpad, in order to open and close windows with the finger?

Tap to click:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.peripherals.touchpad tap-to-click true

##EDIT##

There's a menu entry in System Tools 'dconf Editor' with a GUI to do the same graphically.

Thanks for the suggestion, but even in graphical mode with "dconf Editor" tap to click doesn't work.
However, I have solved with "xinput list" as below in image ( in my case the values are 10 and 276):
