Trisquel 8 hangs, kernel panic?

Hi, I'm having an issue with a Trisquel 8 laptop.

It has been recently upgraded from Trisquel 7, everything went apparently fine.

I don't have the laptop here, and it's difficult to me to go near the laptop (quarantine issues...), so, I only have the comment of the user saying that it hanged showing the screen in the attached picture.

Any hint/idea about what could been happening?

Let me know if I should add some specific hardware/software info, please.
