Hey guys, I followed the directions in the libreboot documentation for installation, and I get to the options to try without installing, etc, but when I hit enter to try without installing, install, or even install from text mode, it hangs. I know this isn't a lot of information to go on, but does anyone have an idea?

Identifying your hardware (I am thinking of the video card in particular) may help. Playing with boot options (like noacpi and noapic) may provide a solution: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BootOptions

I'm using the gluglug X60, it has intel graphics. Libreboot won't give me a list of options, it just lets me edit the boot commands directly.

Are you upgrading to the latest libreboot or to Trisquel 7?

To Trisquel 7. I get to the Trisquel install menu, with the Trisquel logo, but when I hit enter on any of the install options, it hangs.

I also have a GLUGLUG Libreboot X60s but have yet to upgrade to Trisquel 7. I was waiting for it to bed down a little before making the jump. What kernel version are you running at the moment? I'm running the latest update v3.2.0.70.84 available from the toutatis update archive. I believe Trisquel 7 needs v3.13 at least. Could this explain your issues?

This is a point that has always confused me. The kernel available in the toutatis-updates archive is several versions behind the linux-libre kernel available from the FSFLA or http://jxself.org/linux-libre/.

Nevermind guys, it turned out to be ridiculously stupid. I was trying to install a 64-bit operating system on a 32-bit computer. Sorry for wasting everyone's time.
