Trying to map an application via <super> or <win key> but to no avail

I'm trying to assign the said key with an application vi Keyboard -> Shortcuts -> Custom Shortcuts. I can't map it, how do I go about this?

You can do it with xmodmap. Use xev to find the keysym. Read their manual pages.
