Update failure
I tried to upgrade from the updater. At first it threw a message Waiting for ecne to exit. It got stuck so I finally rebooted and tried again.
Now am getting the following message-
Failed to remove essential system package
You requested to remove a package which is an essential part of your system.
Details-
Package libdb5.3 cannot be removed
What should I do?
Update
I eventually tried allowing the update to run using Continue and then ran-
# sudo apt update
# sudo apt upgrade
# sudo apt dist-upgrade
It threw several errors but eventually each command ran cleanly. I am now running T12.
Funny thing is, the desktop wallpaper is still rugged mountains. The T12 wallpaper popped up for a few seconds during boot, but then switched to T11 wallpaper. Everything else appears to be working fine. Thanks.
