Using same BackInTime folder for multiple users ?

Hy, I have a problem with using the same backintime folder for 2 users (desktop+laptop).
Both have the same user name [all thou it should not count], but one dose not recognize the other's backup folders.
Also, I want to mention that for root it detects the folders properly, even thou there are made on different systems (with different system names).
Any ideas how I can trick backintime to recognize the user folders on both machines ?

I use back in time but I have never tried what you are attempting. The back in time website has a spot where you can ask questions. I would post that here because you might get a better answer. Since that program isn't in trisquel by default I don't know how many users here use it.
