Veo Observer ip camera

I have found an old Veo Observer IP camera in my computer "junk" box and I was wondering if anyone has managed to use this camera in Linux. I know that it was primarily for use with "Windows" and did employ ActiveX. (Sorry for using those words).

Anyway - I'd be grateful for any help. It would be a shame to consign the camera to the recycling bin.

Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately it's an IP camera that I have, and is connected to a router - the website you suggested addresses usb webcams. But, thanks for trying anyway.
