I found on the net about the WebM recipe to play videos on YouTube HTML5
http://libreplanet.org/wiki/Group:PlayOgg/WebM_recipe

And wanted to try, but sadly i got this error:

[0x90acc5c] avformat mux error: unable for find a suitable output format
[0x91fae64] stream_out_standard stream out error: no suitable sout mux
module for
`file/ffmpeg{mux=webm}:///home/ark/Escritorio/Calentamiento-creditos2.webm'

`transcode{vcodec=VP80,vb=2000,scale=0,acodec=vorb,ab=128,channels=2,samplerate=44100}:file{dst='/home/ark/Escritorio/Calentamiento-creditos2.webm'}'
[0x923817c] main input error: cannot start stream output instance,

Blocked: call to sigaction(17, 0xbfc88a9c, 0xbfc88a10)

Will an upgrade of VLC correct this issue?
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure about VLC. I think we will have to wait for the next version of Trisquel before VLC will work but I'm not 100% sure. You can however use the firefogg extension for the webbrowser to convert videos to webM (http://firefogg.org/)
