What do you guys think of Mr Robot?
Can it be even discussed here? It's the best one of it's kind I've seen and probably most hackers would too :) Season 1 Episode 6 though, holy shit! Watch it ;)
I do not waste my time watching fiction TV programs. I had to search the show's name, because I have never heard about it. I find fiction works that depict informatics irritating, because they are very often factually incorrect. I find the reality of informatics to be much more interesting, insightful, and useful, than fiction. I would instead read a book about computer science, computer architecture, computer networking, programming, the working of GNU/Linux, or the manual of a particular software package, than watching a TV show.

It's a very good show and I'd recommend it to all free software folks.

I think episode 1 blew my mind. Episode 2 and 3 were very very good. Episode 4 is where the fall begins (that one is clearly of a much lower quality) and so are 5 an 6 (yet better, when compared to ep.4, not nearly as good as the first 3 though). All in all it is a good tv series, but when you watch something like the first episode and then you watch the last three, you understand why it is just good and not excellent like, say, The Wire, which delivered 5 seasons of pure gold, but that's another topic..
I hope it keeps up and I am eager to see if it will go to the dump or stay on the high of the pilot ep.

Yeah the series is entertaining. It's probably the most accurate movie/video or even best of it's kind.

Really? People think it is good, I might have to try it then. When I first saw the commercial I though they had ripped off the Laughing Man from Ghost in the Shell and never gave it a second thought.
Mr. Robot's my favourite TV series now. It's just fantastic...
An entire year is too long to wait for season 2! >_<
