Greetings ladies and gentlemen:

I haven't found Compiz fusion in the package list of Trisquel 7.

Did the Trisquel developers think that this window manager was not important?

It seems odd because the "trisquel-wm" script still let's you switch to the compiz window manager but no effects where activated. (Tested on Trisquel 7 RC4)

Do you have any idea about what could be happening? Compiz is among ubuntu's packages after all.

There is already a thread on the subject at https://trisquel.info/en/forum/trisquel-7-how-install-compiz

(no answer though)

Now, you'll find compiz in Synaptic. :)

It has been added to the repo. after the release of Belenos.

The version Toutatis had had more plugins, though, and one of them (blur) persuaded me to stay with Compiz 0.9.5.

edit: despite using Belenos as the base.

Good to know that it has been added, I've checked it; it's not on the package list though.

And yes, I understand your feelings davidnotcoulthard.

Thank you everyone.

It's off topic but I love the new web design.

Sorry, let me explain myself better: It is on the repository but not in beleno's list on this website (packages) when I looked for it one hour ago.
