Hello everyone.

Please tell me what will work for me if I install Trisquel on PineBook Pro?

Pinebook Pro => https://pine64.org/devices/pinebook_pro/

ARM64 Trisquel (trisquel20_arm64.tar.gz) => https://builds.trisquel.org/debian-installer-images/debian-installer-images_20250803+deb13u1+12.0trisquel20_arm64.tar.gz

Unfortunately, https://h-node.org doesn't have this information on the website... (attached a photo)

1. Will WIFI work?
2. Will Bluetooth work?
3. Will the graphics work correctly?
4. Will the sound work correctly?
5. Will USB work?
6. Will Ethernet work?

The user who attached this photo did not say anything. I will be grateful for information.

You can register the usage of PineBook pro if you sign-up to H-node website. Evidently, with their respective test that uses only the avariable open-source drivers and/or firmware from part of the GNU/FSF-endorsed distros like Trisquel or Parabola.

Everything.

Except the WiFi, Bluetooth and DisplayPort over USB-C (so no external display).
The DisplayPort controller (DPTX) firmware is nonfree.

See the Parabola Wiki about that: https://wiki.parabola.nu/Computers/Pinebook_Pro

The speakers can be non-functional, but you can solve that with Bluetooth speakers or Bluetooth headphones:

You can buy adapters from ThinkPenguin and solve the freedom issue:

- Penguin Wireless N USB Adapter for GNU / Linux (TPE-N150USB)

- Penguin USB Bluetooth 4.0 Micro Adapter (TPE-USBBLUV4)

If you need a USB-C adapter:

- Mini Adapter For Connecting USB Type-A Devices To Type-C USB Ports (TPE-USBATOCMINI)

- Adapter For Connecting USB Type-A Devices To Type-C Ports (TPE-USBATOC)

Did anyone report successfully installing Trisquel 11 or Trisquel 12 on a pinebook pro?

I tried installing Trisquel 12 on a rockpro64 that has u-boot on the SPI flash, the installation starts (HDMI display was not functional at this stage, I used a serial connection) but it says that no network is detected, although ethernet is functional with Debian without any non-free firmware. Besides, when briefly using MATE on Debian, with the file systems on an SSD connected via USB3, it felt less reactive than my X200 with MATE on parabola.
