Where is Add/Remove Programs?

New user:

Hey, sorry to ask so simple a question but: where is the Install/Update/Remove in the menu in Trisquel 7.0?

I looked at the manual, and it seems to be old info.

Actually (Alternatively) You can run Add/Remove Programs by: gnome-app-install

sudo apt-get remove --purge "name of the program"

(example - vlc)

sudo apt-get remove --purge vlc
