Where to sell Libreboot devices

Hello everyone,

I am trying to sell a second-hand iMac 5,2 running Libreboot. I tried doing this on eBay (with non-free javascript, unfortunately) but I can't place an ad there because the shipping section does not include a shipping company that ships from where I live. Now I am looking for another place I could possibly sell this machine, I know there is interest in hardware running Libreboot, but I don't know a website where people who are on the lookout for such hardware look for it.

Does anyone here know a good place to sell such a computer?

PS Since I'm already writing this, I might as well say: If anyone is interested do not hesitate to e-mail me.

You could also do worse than the libreboot mailing list.

Alright, I didn't know that was for selling hardware too. I'll check it out, thanks.

So, another question.

Before I put something on Libreboot's mailing list/subreddit that is possibly off-topic, I decided I should try eBay again, first. Placing the ad went ok, but when I search 'Libreboot' my listing does not show up. Does anyone have any idea why it doesn't show up? I am kind of desperate to sell this thing.

Perhaps it takes a while for search results to appear?

Also, is "libreboot" in the title or the description? I think eBay only searches descriptions if you also check the "include description" checkbox near the Search box.

Anyway, thanks for contacting the eBay Website Support Department. :)

Yeah, I know, I know, I should have contacted eBay. I only got to a page where everything was so generic that I thought I'd check here if anyone knew.

I'll try checking the "include description" box.

Thanks for your answer.
