Which multifunctional printer do you recommend me?
Hi everyone. I'd like to replace 2 printers that are not free software friendly with one multifunctional that works with FOSS (scanner and printing). I hope that printer is relatively modern (because of the tint cartridges, I don't want obsolete ones). It'd be better if that printer prints fast, I don't need to do it in a closing and opening of eyes, but not slow.
If you know one (or you use) I'd be very thankful.
Thanks in advance anyway!
I have one of these myself:
https://www.thinkpenguin.com/gnu-linux/hp-color-laser-printer-w-80211-wifi-ethernet-gnu-linux
It works very well plug-and-play with Trisquel and Debian.
I also have this model:

This one is used less often as it prints somewhat slowly, but it is very reliable and usable.
Good news, but HP has some printers that spy on people. It isn’t always easy to know.
Cheap HP printers aren’t good quality, it seems. Cartridges are very expensive. But they’re a breeze to install.
Megver83, have you had a look at https://h-node.org/ ?
Can’t see the reference of this printer https://www.thinkpenguin.com/gnu-linux/hp-color-laser-printer-w-80211-wifi-ethernet-gnu-linux and ThinkPenguin doesn’t ship it outside the US. It looks good.
As for Brother printers, they work fine with the Brother’s drivers though it isn’t very clear if they’re free. The install script isn’t free but you don’t need to use it.
The Epson drivers are nonfree, I’m pretty sure. Canon usually doesn’t work at all and when it does, it’s nonfree drivers.
Yes, I've look in h-node.

I hate Epson. Those are the worst.
Follow the protocol that Chris gave here: https://trisquel.info/forum/hp-laserjet-printer-p1005-printer-not-working-trisquel-60#comment-77026
