In fact, there are no published instances of anyone in the wild being compromised through these methods.
I see nothing to fear, unless it were from a government spy with lots of spy hacking tools and lots of money to throw at the problem. And if a government spy decided they wanted access to your system, they wouldn't need spectre or meltdown to get it. They would just use the $5 wrench method: https://www.xkcd.com/538/
