Why can't I post by email?

I'm signed up to this forum with the email address name at domain, but when I try sending mail to name at domain, it says my post is awaiting moderator approval. When I post from the forum, manually, my post comes up immediately. Is there any way to fix this? I really prefer to write to the forum from Emacs.

Subscribe to the mailing lists and use them as mailing lists. It's not really a two-way integration where making a forum account creates a mailing list account or vice versa. They're poorly integrated in that regard but if you think of the forum is the forum and the mailing list is the mailing list and they're totally separate and not related then you're fine. Except that some backend forum process somehow sends an email out when a message is posted; but that's part of the forum software to send out email notifications. Mailman still doesn't know who you are.

I am subscribed to both trisquel-users and freedom-misc, but my mail will not go through. :-(

@calher - are you Mennonite? Just curious. Your new profile picture looks like that to me. Hope this is not too personal a question, I was just curious.

From his website: https://bluehome.net/csh/2022/03/23/are-you-amish/

By the way, I am from Amish/Mennonite country. The old order Mennonites who dress in traditional clothing don't live in my county anymore but there are communities in the more rural county just to the west.

Oh interesting, thanks for the link @Legimet. I did not think Caleb was Amish, as he tends to have a mustache in his profile pictures. But the clothing style definitely looks reminiscent of Mennonite. I was raised around Indiana Amish and Mennonite communities, so like you, I'm somewhat familiar with their customs.

I like the fact that Caleb has been learning Pennsylvania Dutch and Yiddish. I've been working on Greek and Hebrew myself the past two years, it's hard work, especially anything using the Hebrew alphabet.
