I'm taking one later. I don't look forward to buying on line. I want something now. Probably there aren't wireless routers that's similar to the fsf-endorsed wireless router that uses librecmc. So could you guys suggest wireless routers that are Free Software friendly? I think almost every wireless router is?

If by "free software friendly", you mean "works with computers that run libre GNU/Linux systems", you don't need to worry about that.

One thing I think is worth noting, though, is that routers typically need to be configured by a Web-based interface, and JavaScript code is often required. If, as is the case for Think Penguin's router, you have the ability to control the software on the router, I don't think this JavaScript code is a problem; it's automatically being installed on your browser, but only after you have installed it on the router; you still clearly have the ability to control it. But if that code is proprietary, or if you're unable to choose what software to run on the router, that's a problem.

Yeah, by Free Software friendly I meant wireless routers that works with libre GNU/Linux systems. Yeah the control over the router is what I'm thinking of. I was suppose to get one yesterday but came to my mind that a wireless router I'd own should enable me full control over it.

I use a TP-Link TL-WR740n running open wrt (very easy to flash with a graphical interface) and it works perfectly with my trisquel 7.

Oh that's cool! I think I've seen a bunch of TP-Links when I was in the so called Computer Plaza in my place (reputed as the best and most diverse of electronics stuff). Thanks man! I'll list this on my top options.
