Hi,

I noticed that Synaptic contains the x2goclient package, bu not the xtgoserver
package.
Does the server package contain non free code, or is it just a security thing ?

Would it be safe to use the Debian repository containing x2goserver ?

I am using Anydesk for the moment but would like to switch to a GPL solution.

Brgds,
Yvo.

It's not available in Trisquel yet, because it's not available in the version of Ubuntu it's based on. x2goserver is present only in Ubuntu 18.04 right now, so it will become available in the next version of Trisquel, which is 9.0 LTS.

I don't think there's any freedom issue with this package. It's not listed in the NONFSDG list: https://libreplanet.org/wiki/List_of_software_that_does_not_respect_the_Free_System_Distribution_Guidelines
