The nested layout of forum gets hard to read in threads with very many posts

As the box containing a post gets narrower every post after a while it gets unusable.

Looks like this depends on the screen (ultimately window) width, so if you have a very large window this will not be a problem any time soon, on the other hand it might be a problematic e.g. on a mobile device pretty soon.

Honestly, I think the whole comment nesting behavior should be discarded. Just sort the posts by date like most forums do; that's good enough. Plus, the nesting behavior causes another problem where it's easy to miss posts if one person responds to an old comment, and one person responds to a new comment.
