Disks utility absent from fresh install on Trisquel 8

Project:Trisquel
Version:8.0
Component:Packages
Category:bug report
Priority:normal
Assigned:Unassigned
Status:closed
Description

Steps to reproduce:
1) do a fresh install of Flidas (see: https://trisquel.info/en/forum/greyed-out-ticked-boxes-encrypt-and-lvm-during-flidas-install-solved-weird )
2) click on Menu > > Hardware > Disks, nothing happens
3) drag that Disks launcher onto the desktop and open right-click > Properties, the launcher command is gnome-disks. Neither gnome-disks nor gnome-disk-utilities are installed on the system.
4) presume that what's meant to be there is mate-disk-utilities
5) check for mate-disk-utilities on the system, it's not there either.

Errata:
* by "gnome-disk-utilities" I actually meant "gnome-disk-utility"
* by "mate-disk-utilities" I actually meant "mate-disk-utility"

Further notes:
- mate-disk-utility does not appear to be available in the Flidas repos
- installing gnome-disk-utility from the repos appears to fix the issue. Although the resulting UI doesn't respect the theming of the rest of the DE, this doesn't affect its functioning.

Trisquel 8.0 support ended in April 2021.
Please open a new issue in case it remains on the current supported release.

Cheers!
