Lembas, could you possibly report this upstream to the wings3d developers at the bug report page. Here is some info on how they want the bug reported.

I would do it myself, however my video card is practically ancient and openGL won't run properly. That means when I am unable to launch the program at all so I can't reproduce the problem properly enough to make a bug report or fix the issue (hard to tell if it is fixed if the program won't even run).

I'm sure you would but my plan was to be as polite as possible and just explain that we should use FLOSS software for rendering and we should probably try to avoid advising users to use proprietary software. It wouldn't be a good dependency to have. They might go for it.

If we can get it fixed upstream that would be awesome because then none of the distros will have this problem.
