The current ath9k driver in 3.5 seems to constantly lose its connection and need to be manually reconnected every few minutes.
I built and installed the .32 kernel driver from here http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Download/stable/#Releases and it has fixed the problem, I've been using the .32 since shortly after the Release Candidate came out and have not had any issues.
I have the same problem.
Solved it by installing wicd.
I think this is a Network Manager problem, as I have the same with Ubuntu 9.04 (but it was fixe with 9.10... if Trisquel 3.5 is based on ubuntu 9.10, why is this unfixed???)
4.0 will have a new version of the kernel that resolves the issue. AFAIK, from 2.6.32 onward, ath9k has had much better compatibility.
With that said, let's close this issue.
