Indicator Applet Quit Unexpectedly

I still get this error after all this time. Trisquel 8 on Intel Nuc7i3BNH.

To be more specific: the panel volume indicator applet crashes if scrolled upon. If opened and adjusted, no crash, works as intended. Can be reloaded or reset to defaults in terminal.
mate-panel --reset --layout trisquel
