Left Click Will Not Open File or Folder

Trisquel 32-bit
Gnome Version 3.8.6
Intel Core 2 Duo

Hello all,

I am unable to open folders or files with left-click or double left-click.

(Left-click does work for menu items.)

This is a fairly new install, but I don't remember it being a problem after install. I think it developed recently.

I've searched for the answer, and one person seemed to have the same trouble on Trisquel-mini, but I'm using Belenos using Gnome.

Any help would be appreciated. As you can imagine it slows down my work.
