Helping with translations ?

Hi Everyone

I am a native English speaker. I live 30 minutes north of Toronto. I
have spent time learning Spanish, French, Tagalog, Japanese and recently
Afrikaans.

I am not really fluent in most of these languages and I am lost in fast
paced conversations but I do understand the grammar pretty well and I
think I can provide good translations in at least some of these. I don't
think help would be needed with Spanish, French or Japanese but I do
think that help might be needed with Tagalog and Afrikaans.

Should I join an Ubuntu team to provide assistance that will then be
folded into Trisquel or is there a FSF oriented place to start?

I found this posting but it didn't seem to go anywhere:
https://trisquel.info/en/forum/how-translate-trisquel

and I found this:
https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/translation-team-french

but there doesn't seem to be any information.

Thanks-Patrick

If you are signed in, you can add or edit translations for any documentation page by navigating to it and clicking "Translate" under the title.

Hi Mason

This wouldn't really make more languages available for installation but
it would help Trisquel.

Would it be good to work on Trisquel documentation and Ubuntu language
packs?

Thanks-Patrick
