Hello guys!

It's worth mention that only the MATE flavor have several languages preinstalled[1], please add the details on what flavor you are having the issue.
Then we can start digging on what could be the cause.

Regards.

Since the topic counter for the Trisquel users forum has just topped 10,000, we have a good excuse to do a bit of archeology:

"..and four new preinstalled languages -the list now includes English, Basque, Catalonian, Chinese, French, Galician, Hindi, Portuguese and Spanish"
https://trisquel.info/en/forum/trisquel-22-released

"I'm sorry to write you in English, but that the language i judge more aproprieated to adrees here, since my native language is Brazilian Portuguese"
https://trisquel.info/en/hiholaola-can-i-post-english

Congratulations, and loads of thanks, to all involved in this great journey into freedom.

As a side note, clicking on the "Install Trisquel" desktop icon on a Trisquel Mini 11.0.1 live system opens the usual dialogue box for executable text files, instead of directly starting the install process:

Seems like that's the default behavior for LXDE/Openbox when opening a .desktop file there.

PCManFM has a "Don't ask options on launch executable file" checkbox in Edit > Preferences.

It sounds wiser to keep that box unchecked on an installed system, but if it is checked on a live system the install process will start immediately after clicking on the "Install Trisquel" desktop icon.

If the current ubiquity.desktop file is replaced by a link from the main menu, the install starts right away after clicking on the icon.

rm /home/trisquel/Desktop/ubiquity.desktop
ln -s /usr/share/applications/ubiquity.desktop /home/trisquel/Desktop/

I prefer we check this kind of changes for Ecne, as this is a maintenance only release.

Indeed it does not seem to be specific to the current 11.0.1 ISO image.

Hello people!

So the time is getting very close to release 11.0.1, please find the latest ISO set at:
http://cdbuilds.trisquel.org/aramo/11.0.1/

This could be seen as RC material, please help test, if no blocking issues then I think we'll have the latest 11.0.1 published.

Regards.

The problem with the keyboard during the installation with netinstall seems to be resolved, as soon as the final version is released I will finally be able to do a clean installation on the D**l Optiplex. Thank you!

Should we now consider that RC material as the all-but-released official version?

I am already using it as install material, the difference is only about downloading from the cdbuilds page vs. downloading from a torrent.

There is no release announcement so far (if any), but you can now download released 11.0.1 versions from the cdimage.trisquel.org site.
