The Trisquel Users' Youtube Channel
I don't know if anything similar has been here before, but this is an idea I had yesterday I thought I might share.
The Trisquel Users' YouTube Channel.
This would be a YouTube channel made by Trisquel users and for Trisquel users. Where we could upload our Trisquel-related videos: screencasts, news, tutorials, whatever...
The idea is to spread the word of Free Software and help other Trisquel users.
"Wait! A YouTube channel? But that requires Flash!"
Yes, YouTube requires Flash, to watch our own videos it would be painful sometimes, and Gnash isn't always 100%. What I suggest to solve this, is to upload the videos twice, one in YouTube and one in another host service, so we could download and watch them. (Or maybe there is a video hosting website that doesn't require Flash or Silverlight and it's OK for us free software users, but I don't think there is such a thing)
The account management would be very similar to how free software works:
- There would be a group of users in charge of the account management, one created an account and passed the account details to others. This would be a group of 4/5 people and could eventually grow.
- Now if someone wants to upload a video, all they have to do is send a PM to one of the account managers, specifying the type of video and what it is about. If the managers think it's fine then the account's information would be passed to that user and (s)he could upload the video with no problems.
I think this would be a great way to draw attention to Free Software and Trisquel GNU/Linux. The only video on YouTube of recent Trisquel releases is a review of 4.5 by sneekylinux.
This is only a rough idea that would appreciate some ideas, specially in the account management field, where I'm not sure of the best way to do it.

In my opinion, if you have Trisquel related videos just upload them to your account, people will find them; there is no need of a committee to waste time on approvals.
As for the youtube compatibility with libre software, you can try using the html5, FlashVideoReplacer, greasemonkey scripts, etc.
Here are my thoughts:
Firstly, YouTube can be easily watched with all free software (https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/play-videos-without-using-flash) especially since they are converting all their videos to webM. So the flash part is quickly becoming irrelevant.
I have a similar channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/LibreSoftware?feature=mhee) where I post Free Software videos. I am not against the idea of a Trisquel YouTube channel. It is on our roadmap (https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/roadmap) to expand the community on certain social network type sites.
However, making those sorts of videos takes a lot of time and work. There are lots of ways to help the project (https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/how-help) and this seems like one of the bigger/harder tasks because of all the work required to make those sort of videos. I'm not trying to discourage you because if you can do the work that would be excellent but you may want to start smaller and work your way up to an idea like that later.

There is another option I proposed some time ago: Miro Community. [1]
Miro Community is a service that allows you to create a video website. You
can publish videos in any format (Theora, WebM, etc), but these videos are
not hosted by Miro Community, just embedded from other services. I use it to
publish videos in Theora hosted in VideoBin and the Internet Archive. [2]
Miro Community is also a libre Web app made in Django which you can download
and install in your own server.

I cannot see any video in Youtube, even that you uploaded, Daniel.
