just got that update. Thank you!
Thanks for this reminder. I installed the new browser, thunderbird, and
other assorted updates. My Unplug extension no longer seems to wirk,
but linternamagica still does; need to see whether Orca strangeness re:
finding abrowser's focus when lm is enablled is still here.
Cheers,
Dave H.

UnPlug broke for me, too. It never occurred to me that the browser update might be the source of the problem.
I guess UnPlug just needs an update.
There is supposed to be an unplug update that fixes an issue with
abrowser 18, but I can't seem to download it; the automatic updates
thing doesn't get it. I think there is a git tree for the sources? How
does one build a Mozilla extension? This added to my reading list.

The normal Firefox plugins page doesn't show any such recent updates; what we have on Abrowser is the latest currently:
There actually is a more recent release in the beta channel. Just "add to firefox". ;-)
Thanks for 18.0.1 too :-)
OK, UnPlug is working... sort of (the Downloads window doesn't show up even though the video is downloading, which is weird, but it works), but I've noticed another problem since the upgrade to Abrowser 18. Whenever it's prompted to play a video by "opening" a supported video type such as OGG video (e.g. http://questioncopyright.org/files/minute_memes/cint/CINT_Nik_Theora_720.ogv) or viewing an embedded video (e.g. the video on https://www.gnu.org/education/education.html), the playback controls are almost never shown (one time the controls did show up for an entire session, but I have no idea why). Anyone else experiencing this?
Hi,
I'm not experiencing your issues, but have one that keeps many videos
from playing any more than about 30 seconds; these are usually ones that
are evailable from youtube or vimeo, but with no webm option. Almost
none of the videos I want to watch are in html5 (yes, I am in trial and
specify html5=1).
Cheers,
Dave
