Abrowser can't see my email accounts in cPanel

A few days ago my ISP started sending me messages to the effect that a couple of my email accounts were close to their limits of storage. As my ISP sets no limits on my disk usage relating to my domains, it would ordinarily be a simple matter to go into cPanel to boost those quotas. Not so fast ... yesterday when I tried that formerly simple step, the Email Accounts button in cPanel led me to a page where it said: "No email accounts found."

That was the case when I used ABrowser. My ISP suggested that I try another browser, like Chrome or Firefox ... I demurred, and installed Rekonq instead, as it's listed in Trisquel's Add/Remove Applications and has the same number of stars as the three other most popular browsers.

Rekonq works fine with cPanel's Email Accounts functions, so it's ABrowser that's broken.

Here's what Abrowser shows me after I click the Email Accounts button in cPanel:
Email Accounts
{{pageSizeTitle}}

@ / / Actions
No email accounts found.
My workaround is to use Rekonq, but the broken state of ABrowser is troubling.

Thanks,
George Langford

Abrowser is rebranded Firefox with freedom issues addressed and better
privacy settings. When a site doesn't work in Abrowser, I find that 99%
of the time it is not a bug, but due to one of these modifications,
usually a privacy setting.

First I would try the site with Firefox.[1] If it works, then that will
confirm that the issue lies in one of Abrowser's modifications to
Firefox. (I am not suggesting that you use Firefox for your computing,
as it has several freedom issues. I am only suggesting that you use it
now to help troubleshoot Abrowser.)

Next I would try Icecat. It does not appear in Add/Remove Applications,
but it is in the Trisquel repository and can be installed using Synaptic
or a terminal. (see "Installing and Removing Packages"[1])

Icecat is also based on Firefox, but is based on Firefox ESR 52 instead
of Firefox 62. Icecat is generally stricter on privacy and freedom than
Abrowser, including blocking proprietary JavaScript by default with the
LibreJS plugin. However, you might as well try, and if the site works
with Icecat than that narrows down the issue to the differences between
Abrowser and Icecat.

I appreciate privacy, therefore IceCat and Abrowser are my first
options when it comes to browsing, and on top of them I use some add-ons
in order to improve privacy and security, such as NoScript, Privacy
Badger, uBlock Origin and so on. However, I am sad to discover that
many web sites won't open:

IceCat: So many websites fail to open that I don't use it any more.
Abrowser: Most sites work, even though I sometimes need to allow some
scripts at NoScript. Still, there are some sites that just won't work
even with all scripts allowed, such as the Reddit GIFs - for these
sites, I use Epiphany. There are a small subset of sites that would
make Epiphany crash and that don't work on Midori either - if I am to
see this, I need a non-free software computer.
