I understand age verification finger printing requirements is due to be rolled out across Linux, Mac and Linux. From what I understand ubuntu is signing up for this - though I think it had little choice. Where does Trisquel fit into this?
Also how would this be enforced? What would stop a minor borrowing their parents laptop - similar to how a lot of parents hand over their iPhone to their kid to keep it quiet.
Impossible with Free Software.
Free Software will be illegal, period.
ID2020 and Agenda 2030 are coming on us hard, and it's coming from all government representatives and leaders despite their political leanings it seems. Those of us who value liberty and freedom are fighting an ever steep up-hill battle. The powers that be are using their own crimes and destructive decisions against their people because the problems they are presenting solutions too are ones they created.
I have no clue what these "ID2020" and "Agenda 2030" are and the government of which country you are referring to.
From https://lwn.net/Articles/1062779/, the laws currently passed in several states of the USA would result from lobbying heavily funded by Meta to avoid having to do any age-based filtering for their services and push that to the operating system instead.
