are there trisquel capable amd notebooks?

Once I bought an amd desktop motherboard. Both cpu and graphics card was from amd. I got aware of the free software matter and found out that amd graphics cards often do not run on free software. Including my amd desktop motherboard. The solution was to get an intel graphics card known to support free software. The intel graphics card enabled the desktop computer to run a free software system. How is it about amd notebooks? Are some amd notebooks able to run a free software system, including the graphics card? And if that is the case how do you determine that a given amd notebook will run a free software system?
