Bought an ASUS x101ch a few months ago and was saddened to find out that all GNU/Linux distros were having the
resolution issue: it was stuck on 800x600.

Despite doing everything possible, the only solution seemed to be to recompile the latest kernel. Therefore, I decided to upgrade my Brigantia's kernel to Libre-linux 3.5 and VOILA! The resolution issue's gone and I can finally see the other 1/3 of my screen with no problem.

Great news! It would be awesome if you could note these things over at http://h-node.org/. That'll help others with this hardware, or considering this hardware.

Cheers!

Done! Updated the Compatibility to Platinum, and added the lspci -vmmnn/lspci -nnk/lsusb -v outputs as well.

Isn't this only used when 3d acceleration is supported?
