Browser and third party cookies

I recently had problems trying to get an official document through the
web, using Trisquel's browser.
The web page seemed incapable to recognize the online application form
as completed.
I had to run an Ubuntu 11.04 live-CD to be able to complete all the
requested data and get the corresponding
message about the document being sent.
I think this could be related with the default option in the browser
shipped with Trisquel to not allow third
party cookies.
Is there any way to specify exceptions to this function, by site for example?
Is it possible to individually examine every one of this third party
cookies in order to allow them or not?

As far as I remember the default setting, Trisquel's Web browser *accepts* all cookies by default. That said, the configuration can be altered from the tab "Privacy" (translated from French, may be different) in the Preferences window of the browser. In the "rules of conservation" (again a translation), you can choose to use customized setting what allows then to define per-site exceptions to the general rule (accept or reject every cookie).
