fails in trisquel 10, it was working in trisquel 9, withtfe help of the official nvidia drivers.
Where do I get my log dumps related to this.
In addition, grub failed on initial install on nvme0 device whev using lvm and encrypted partitions. It worked fin in trisquel 9. I was able to get trisqel 10 going by reboot into the live cd, and running grub-install manually on the correct partition.

Glad that you got GRUB working. One thing that you could try is the latest kernel to see if that solves the audio problem - https://www.fsfla.org/ikiwiki/selibre/linux-libre/freesh.en.html But if the audio required proprietary software to work in Trisquel 9 that's not really a good sign.
Is it possible to upgrade the kernel exclusively, clean and easy, without messing with a full os upgrade? What tutorial would you recommend for such a particular action? Never mind, I see its instruction built into the website you referred me to.
