Hosting Zimbra

Hi everyone, I currently use unseen.is webmail is I found out is actually Zimbra. I feel like I might want to host my own Zimbra based email and calendar. I'm wondering if anyone here has had any experience with hosting it. I also wonder if this is something which will eventually cost me money (which I don't mind paying for the right price). Thoughts?
Hosting will always cost money. If you host it at home for example there is the cost of your internet connection and the computer itself. Perhaps other expenses too. If you outsource it to a third party whether it's a dedicated server or a VPS they will want money. So there is always a cost to run things yourself. That is still better than using third party services for free though. Don't forget the saying: "if you are not paying for the product, you are the product."
