Do you enjoy learning natural languages?
What methods do you use?
I read that Leah is learning Japanese. I would like to know her method.
When I'm studying a language, I download/borrow a book and use Anki SRS.
Anki's a great program for smarter flash-cards-- it's libre, and works on both Android and GNU/Linux. :)
+1 for Anki- アンキが一番好きなプロゴラムですよ。

Im still using ANki Method to teach my child. When she was enrolled in kinder garden, she was moved into first grade and move at to grade one at age 5. She is seven know all it takes dedication and perseverance.her score was high, at young age 4 she was introduced to A,B,c, NUMBERS 1-100, COLORS AND SHAPES, SHE EVEN LEARN SIGN LANGUAGE AND USE IT WITH 1500 WORDS. i WAS TOLD is good to learn at early age but I have to slowdown, a bit. Her writing skills and composition at her age is excellent.
Watching movies and reading in that language.
Living in the country that you wish to learn the language ...or at least go there as often as possible.

your suggestion is only valid at 40percent. why? because not everyone has the money, neither to travel or stay in that country they want to learn their language.
The only options are a few:
1- Enroll in classes in college or any institute of languages. That will introduce you to the basic, beginner, or advance classes.
2- buy a book on the language you want to master and start practicing.
3- If you are lucky enough you could have a native speaker of that particular language to help you understanding.
4- Use media tools to reinforce your learning skills and memory. such as flash cards.
5- bUYING A GOOD DICTINARY DOES HELP YOU A LOT.
6-READING BOOKS, ANY MAGAZINES IS A GOOD way, but only help the patient ones.
and most of all WASH YOUR BODY WITH SULFUR SOAP TO CONTROL YOUR TINEA VERCICOLOR MY MANGY DOG. sORRY IF IT IS OUT TOPIC, BUT COULD HELP OUT, MYSELF ON THIS ONE SARNOSO.

There are several opinions and techniques, but the truth is, unless you don't want to waste time, what you want to do is follow these steps:
1 - learn very well the grammar of your native language
2 - learn very well the grammar of the language you want to learn
3 - Preferably each day for several months translate from the foreign language to your native one and the other way around
4 - See point -> https://trisquel.info/en/forum/how-do-you-learn-languages#comment-119213
5 - The only way you will get perfect in a foreign language though is to go to live in the country where it is spoken and speak and above all **think** in that language **all the time** for a couple of years.
