Unbelievably painless view of trisquel (havn't installed yet so still in live mode) with all hardware recognized.

How does one enable gflash? or whatever the free version of flash is called?

Cheers,
Tex

Gnash (the GNU Flash replacement) should be enabled by default - just
open up a webpage that uses SWF in Abrowser.

You might also want to try browser add-ons which can donwload videos from sites like YouTube. Please see our decumentation: https://trisquel.info/en/browser
I use UnPlug. It can also play videos right away.

When Unplug recognizes a video on the page, you can sometimes open it in a new tab. Sometimes Abrowser will not play the video, but only offer to download it. If you just want to watch it though, choose the option Copy Link instead. Then open a video player (totem is preinstalled, but vlc works best imo) and open the location you just copied.

When on youtube, go to www.youtube.com/html5 and join the html5 trial. This will make most videos watchable with the html5 player, which is basically identical to the proprietary flash player of youtube.
