Hi to everyone! After the last update via shell, I have noticed a missed update with kernel 4.4.0-187 on both desk and laptop with Trisquel 8 mini (LXDE). Try I to install it via Synaptic package manager?

I mean that I have not received the latest kernel 4.4.0-187 with the last update via shell. No message I got. See also this my topic: "Problem with kernel 4.4.0-186". Thank you for the attention.

What kernel do you have? Copy/paste your /etc/apt/sources.list. What is the output of `apt list --upgradeable`?

I have in use the kernel 4.4.0-185. In the sources list I have the following:

# deb cdrom:[Trisquel 8.0 _flidas_ - Release amd64 (20180417)]/ flidas main

# Trisquel repositories for supported software and updates
deb https://archive.trisquel.info/trisquel/ flidas main
deb https://archive.trisquel.info/trisquel/ flidas-security main
deb https://archive.trisquel.info/trisquel/ flidas-updates main
deb https://archive.trisquel.info/trisquel/ flidas-backports main
# deb-src http://mirrors.serverhost.ro/trisquel/packages flidas-backports main

The output of `apt list --upgradeable` is nil

This server is non-functional, "not found".

Doesn't matter. It's commented out.

Hm. What's is the output of

$ apt policy linux-image-amd64

and

$ apt depends linux-image-amd64

?

These are the outputs:

for $ apt policy linux-image-amd64 >> N: Impossible to find the package linux-image-amd64

for $ apt depends linux-image-amd64 >> E: no package found

I'm on Trisquel 9.

I get the same "unable to locate" and "package not found" with 'linux-image-amd64'.

Whereas 'linux-image-generic' yields results.

apt policy linux-image-generic
linux-image-generic:
Installed: 4.15.0.112.100+9.0trisquel5
Candidate: 4.15.0.112.100+9.0trisquel5

In my notebook " $ apt policy linux-image-generic "yields:

linux-image-generic:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 4.4.0.187.193+8.0trisquel2
Version table:
4.4.0.187.193+8.0trisquel2 500

The strange thing is that I have not these problems in my old netbook ASUS Eeepc!

Chaosmonk, where are you? Are you perhaps with a beautiful blonde hair girl?
