I bought another Thinkpad from Ebay. It uses SeaBIOS and Trisquel.
It is a T400. Is this computer ethical to use?

Yes, it is. It does meet the strict criteria for Respects Your Freedom on the hardware side. On the software side there are differnt distributions, at least some of them are ethical.

Even its GPU is ethical, it is compatible with Minetest.

If you mean free as GNU.org and FSF.org say, then yes, if that's your goal get one.
It is a bit slow though.

Indeed.
But you could enhance it with 8GB of RAM and a Intel Core T9900 CPU (3,07 GHz) with little money.
