On that note - hello everyone!
I've been interested in the whole idea of Free Software for a while now and been working on making my devices respect my freedom and privacy.
One of the most important steps in this endeavour has been buying a librebooted X200 from vikings and putting Trisquel GNU/Linux on it. It gives me a tremendous peace of mind knowing that the Intel backdoor is not affecting this machine and it has since become my favorite computing device.
This post serves merely as a "Hello (free) world!" to all of the community members here.
Been a long time reader and eager to contribute as well from now on :)
