Hi guys.
New Trisquel User, long time Linux user.
Checking this distro out while distro hopping.
I currently have it in a vm, but I like what I see.

I currently have 4 pcs
1- Elementary OS
2- SolydXK
3- Mint
4- Siduction

So I'm kicking around the notion to hop one of them.

Welcome to Trisquel Users forums. :)
Trisquel is probably most similar to Linux Mint. You can even install the cinnamon desktop: http://blog.sudobits.com/2012/07/25/how-to-install-cinnamon-desktop-on-ubuntu-12-04/

Happy hopping, just keep in mind all other distros generally don't include the -libre kernel which strips out binary blobs from the GNU/Linux kernel. :D

G4JC, did you find cinnamon stable as when I last installed on Tris I got errors relating to nemo crashing?

ElementaryOS is really really pretty.

Someone should do a guide in making Trisquel look like it. :-)

GNOME Shell with these extensions:

https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/578/slingshot-app-launcher/
https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/156/quit-button/

Then install the docky package (sudo apt-get install docky) and start it up. That seems to be pretty close to ElementaryOS, though this is only based on a screenshot of ElementaryOS (I've never actually used it).
