Patchfox is an add-on for Firefox-based browsers that provides a GUI for a Scuttlebutt back-end. It is published under an "MIT/X11" license:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/patchfox/

Perhaps this could be added to the list of add-ons that can be found in the Abrowser add-on search? Mind you, that wouldn't be much use without an SSB back-end being made available in the Trisquel repos. Ideally one of the many newer implementations that don't depend on Node.js/ npm stuff. Perhaps this could be a side goal for the release of Trisquel 10?

"Scuttlebutt aims to harmonize four perspectives of life: Environment reflecting Technology reflecting Community reflecting Society."

"Society is not made of homogeneous people, so we must allow pluralism of cultures to flourish. The edges of the social graph must extend to include all people and their diverse values, interactions, and customs. No one of us can build a welcoming place for all groups, because the very concept of welcoming is subjective." [1]

"One of its first applications was as a social network, and it has also become one of the most compelling because the people who hang out there are not jerks." [2]
