We brought back the Penguin Air after fixing some supply issues and a major redesign. It retains the same thin form factor and 13.3" screen although now sports a black shell. A minimally spec'd model is slightly more expensive ($50 USD). However for that you get a numbers of new configuration options. You can get anywhere from a single core Celeron all the way up to an i7 and 8GB of ram.

It's a little under 3 hours with the standard battery. There is also a larger
battery we offer as an upgrade for it soon.

It's thin and light for such a model... this isn't a netbook. Your average
15.6" is 6lbs.

Looks interesting but at 4.18 lbs (1.9kg) the 'air' tag kind of vanishes.

Speaking of netbooks, are there any plans for a Think Penguin netbook? I'd definitely be interested in one.

We didn't get into the netbook market because there was never any profit in it. Then the market for netbooks crashed and now nobody sells them.

The default screen is glossy. We should be able to do a matte screen as well like with the other laptops. The option isn't there yet though. Send an email and we will get on it.
