Problems with access to trisquel site

Hi
We are aware than some users are being blocked of the trisquel site, due to a change to catch spammers. We are investigating it, and in the meanwhile, you can send a mail to name at domain with your username, or join the #trisquel irc channel and ask for unblock.
I'm deeply sorry, I made the change to the setup of the antispam system which is causing this trouble; it was not working properly so we were getting dozens of bad registrations daily, but the "fix" which made it work properly has also blocked access to many of you.
I've changed the setup again to avoid the blocking of legit users, and I'm reactivating all the affected accounts; I should be done in a bit, I'll update the thread when I've finished this job. Feel free to of course write or contact us if you are still locked out after I finish and post here again.
Sorry again, I should have realized this could happen :(
Ok, I've finished checking all the accounts and I think I have reactivated all affected users. If you have received an email notifying you that an administrator has activated your account, just like if you had registered today, that's because it had been improperly blocked because of this issue, and you don't have to do anything in particular to continue using the site.
I'll be checking again all blocked user accounts to make sure that I haven't missed anybody, but meanwhile, if you find that your account has been deactivated today, please contact me at info [at] trisquel [dot] info with your username so I can fix it.
Sorry again for the inconvenience.
It's great you're fighting spam. There are way too many semi abandoned wikis and forums out there that act as dumping grounds for spam.
I have a theory that spam invites spam. A bit like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broken_windows_theory
I believe a spam removed today is worth 10 spams tomorrow.
And I hate spammers passionately. They're killing so many forums.
So keep up the good work!
Wouldn't it be awesome if someone could invent a system that automatically returned all spam to the originator x1000, so sending spam would result in the spammer's systems being DDOSed! :)
Botnets (many regular Windows systems who caught a Troyan) send spams.
