Questions about GNUBoot supported devices

Hello!
I Thought about buying used Laptop in 2025/2026, that supports GNUBoot, I have questions like there's huge diffrence bettwen devices like:Thinkpad T440/X200
And is there's anything to help support more unpopular devices (like Fujitsu laptops).

X200 has more battery life and is considered RYF by the FSF if gnubooted/canoebooted
T440, cannot be corebooted even. T400 can be gnubooted/canoebooted.
And t440p can be corebooted/librebooted
The main difference between them is cpu power, heat containment, battery life and screen size.
X200 has the best of them
T400 is not as good in battery life but is better in the other ways.
I have had an X200. It has maybe 5 hours at most on old libreboot 20160907.
T400 probably has more like 3 hours. Although I haven't used it. But I have had a T430 and that thing has more like 3 hours and its newer.
So... yeah

Oh and T440p is not considered RYF due to blobs needed. Although privacy should come first imo. But I understand RYF isn't about privacy, so yeah.

The Dell E6400 supports canoeboot, which is also free software (listed at https://directory.fsf.org/wiki/Canoeboot). At least where I live, the Dell E6400 is much easier to find than the X200 or T400. One advantage it has over the X200 or the T400 is that it can be connected with DisplayPort to an external display with 2560x1440 resolution.
On the Dell E6400, canoeboot can be flashed internally, no need to open the laptop or use any special hardware. That said, it is important to check that it does not have a graphic card in addition to the integrated intel GPU (some models have an additional graphic card which cannot work with free software only).
