removing linux-image. apt wants to install later package.

I am trying to uninstall linux-image-5.15.80-gnu without installing the later version. I have installed already 6.0.12-gnu (running) and 6.0.10-gnu so I do not see why I can not just remove the 5.15.80-gnu without it forcing me to install 5.15.82-gnu.

sudo apt purge linux-image-5.15.80-gnu linux-libre-5.15 linux-libre-lts????? Not all of these may be installed.

Yes, linux-libre-lts was installed. I uninstalled it just fine with your advice. Super!
