Run popcorn time trisquel 7

Having problems trying to run popcorn time 64 bit on trisquel 7 64 bit. It is gpled so free software. How do I get it to work?

- Uncompress it (you can right click on it with Trisquel's default file manager);
- Open the resulting "popcorn-time-community-v0.4.0-64bit" directory in a terminal (you can right click on it with Trisquel's default file manager);
- Type "./install" followed by the Enter key;
- Type "y" followed by the Enter key to accept the terms of service.
Make sure you have an adblocker and noscript installed before accessing the link he provides. Has a lot of advertisements via popups and new tabs.

- Download https://get.popcorntime.sh/build/Popcorn-Time-0.3.9-Linux-64.tar.xz
- Uncompress it (you can right click on it with Trisquel's default file manager);
- Optionally move the uncompressed directory wherever you want (and/or rename it);
- With the "New Item" button of "Main Menu" (in the "System settings"), create a launcher (in the "Category" of your choice, e.g., "Sound & Video"), specifying the path to the "Popcorn-Time" binary (the the uncompressed directory) as a "Command", any "Name" you want (e.g., "Popcorn Time"), any "Comment" you want (e.g., "Watch Movies and TV Shows instantly") and any icon yu want (e.g., src/app/images/popcorntime.ico in the uncompressed directory).
The site you mentioned before says that popcorntime.sh is a MPAA controlled site now.

Since the end of popcorntime.io, the situation is a mess: many projects pretending to be the "official" heir and talking badly about other Popcorn Time projects. https://popcorntime.sh could actually be the heir: it is forked from the Butter project (developed by popcorntime.io's developers).
