So I was wondering how Trisquel manages to be so stable...

Ever since I last installed Trisquel it seems I got basically no updates at all other than the first update process post-installation. Wonderful, Trisquel managing to be more stable than even Debian-based PureOS, I thought. :) And I wasn't even getting security updates, which I was happy with. But then I realized that this stability seems to be because I was using what seems to be a broken mirror, I tried to get libarchive-dev in order to compile LibreSprite ( https://directory.fsf.org/wiki/Libresprite ) but the mirror didn't let me, I had suspected previously that the mirror was broken but after I switched mirrors and did "sudo apt update" Trisquel notified me of about 150 pending updates I wasn't getting on the other mirror. So it turns out that this beloved stability probably wasn't a feature but rather a bug. I'd report this bug on Trisquel's GitLab instance but since I don't usually run JavaScript I can't do it, so if someone can confirm that this mirror instance is indeed broken feel free to report it

And the error from when I was on the potentially broken archive, not allowing me to install libarchive-dev
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libarchive-dev : Depends: libarchive13 (= 3.6.0-1ubuntu1.1) but 3.6.0-1ubuntu1.2 is to be installed
Indeed.
