Some problems with Abrowser 12 (trisquel 5.5)

Hi!
My Abrowser doesn´t save some changes that I choose in the menu preferences, for example when I choose open with my start page instead the last site viewed before closing it in the last session the program doesn´t save the change and when I open the browser appears again the last site and not the start page.
Furthermore I would like to know if there is an extension instead flash player that allows me watch videos on pages that doesn´t support html5 for example here:

I hope that the topic were well explained because my english isn´t very good and I´m not an expert in computers. I became using Ubuntu 11.10 and in my job my computer still running with Ubuntu but I decide proving Trisquel in my PC.

You can solve this problem select "open last session", close Abrowser, after choose "start homepage".
And you can see the most Flash video sites with Linterna Magica.
Install add-on Greasemonkey in Abrowser:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/
Restart if required.
And install Linterna Magica with a click:
http://download-mirror.savannah.gnu.org/releases/linterna-magica/linternamagica-v0.0.11-2.user.js.html
It works perfectly with this site.

I am having the same problem with preferences.
Please let me see if I understand the order of your instructions...
1. From the Preferences menu select "Show my windows and tabs from last time" (that's how the selection reads).
2. Close Abrowser
3. Select "Show my home page" ("after" you have re-opened Abrowser and returned to the Preferences menu).
I tried that and it worked at first, but again it reads "Show my windows and tabs from last time".
The preference to show my homepage did not maintain. (My homepage is Speed Dial)

The reason I used Speed Dial is that I like my browser to open independently
of having to connect to a website. If their server is down I don't want to
wait 3,000 years to navigate to some place else.
I changed my settings:
1. I removed Speed Dial
2. In Preferences, "When Abrowser starts", I selected "Show a blank page".
3. I set my homepage to "about:blank".
It works.

I only had three links on Speed Dial anyway. A waste of space for three links.
