TBB settings vs Icecat/Abrowser proxy through TOR?

I believe I have read/heard that some sites will be able to identify me/my computer by e.g. the scripts that are not allowed to run in my browser. If that is the case, which is better when blocking sites/domains with noscript: Using Tor browser or Icecat/Abrowser proxied through TOR?

If you avoid installing extensions, both solutions are essentially the same: both try to minimize the fingerprint of the Web browser and their connections go through Tor in both cases. At least, that is my understanding.
